Day 26


This old-timer is a mixed media piece. It is for Mini Mini: A 4x4 Mini Art Show coming up next month. Each entry has to be, you guessed it, 4"x4" in size. I don't think I have ever worked on something so small. I believe the mustache to be life-sized.

Project VII-Day Thirty: Grass

     And that is a wrap! Day Thirty's photo was taken at Oliver Nature Park in Mansfield, TX earlier this summer. The labeling of each drawing evolved during the project. In the bottom left-hand corner is the sequence number of the drawing within the 30-day time frame and the location of where the reference photo was taken. My take away from this particular project was having the opportunity to spend more time with a special moment I had in nature. It allowed me to marvel at the intricacies of the plants and animals around us.
