Day 2

I am told that Pekin Nightingales are lovely birds with bright personalities and extremely active natures. So says Hank Bates and Bob Busenbark, the authors of Introduction to Finches and Softbills. I would put them in my imaginary aviary. (The birds, not the authors.)

Project VII-Day Thirty: Grass

     And that is a wrap! Day Thirty's photo was taken at Oliver Nature Park in Mansfield, TX earlier this summer. The labeling of each drawing evolved during the project. In the bottom left-hand corner is the sequence number of the drawing within the 30-day time frame and the location of where the reference photo was taken. My take away from this particular project was having the opportunity to spend more time with a special moment I had in nature. It allowed me to marvel at the intricacies of the plants and animals around us.
