Project VII-Day Four: Prickly Pear

     Day Four: If someone asked me to close my eyes and imagine the landscape of my home state of Texas, it would be filled with a wide open sky and prickly pears for days. Like a good portion of the photos I am using for this project, this one was taken at my mom's place in Glen Rose, TX. It's eleven acres - every inch of which my feet love to explore.

     And that is a wrap! Day Thirty's photo was taken at Oliver Nature Park in Mansfield, TX earlier this summer. The labeling of each drawing evolved during the project. In the bottom left-hand corner is the sequence number of the drawing within the 30-day time frame and the location of where the reference photo was taken. My take away from this particular project was having the opportunity to spend more time with a special moment I had in nature. It allowed me to marvel at the intricacies of the plants and animals around us.
