Project VII-Day Four: Prickly Pear

Day Four: If someone asked me to close my eyes and imagine the landscape of my home state of Texas, it would be filled with a wide open sky and prickly pears for days. Like a good portion of the photos I am using for this project, this one was taken at my mom's place in Glen Rose, TX. It's eleven acres - every inch of which my feet love to explore.

Day 12

I thought I would try something different. I've never sketched/painted a migration pattern. A more detailed series would be fun I do believe.
